During her fellowship, Dr. Read completed more than 400 complex gynecologic surgeries, including pelvic exenterations and hyperthermic intraperitoneal chemotherapy (HIPEC). Her research during both residency and fellowship focused on endometrial cancer; her residency research examined high risk pathologic features of endometrial cancer and her fellowship thesis studied the role of a potential therapeutic marker in uterine serous carcinoma. Dr. Read’s work has been published in peer-reviewed journals and presented at national meetings such as the Society of Gynecologic Oncology Annual Meeting and the American Association of Cancer Research meeting on endometrial cancer.
Dr. Read is committed to partnering with her patients, providing education and research-based evidence for treatment options to help patients and their loved ones make informed decisions about goals of care and treatment plans. Her comprehensive, individualized treatment plans are provided in an accepting and non-judgmental environment, delivering the highest quality of care regardless of race, ethnicity, religious or cultural beliefs, sexual orientation, gender identity or political affiliations.
