In Scotland William Wallace is a national hero, a Scottish Knight that fought for Scottish independence; and died for it. But, as is the case with most national heroes, the life and deeds of William Wallace have been greatly exagerated. Not to mention the fact that these accounts were far from being objective and depended greatly on who's side the narrator was. The real William Wallace was a bit different from the legendary hero.
