In the fall of 2017, June Harlee received a postcard from LifeBridge Health regarding a breast screening event called Mammothon. Like most people she felt like she didn't need to go, however it had been some time since she last had an exam, so she attended the yearly event. She did in fact have breast cancer, and by coming in to get an exam when she did, it saved her life.
