On the 30th of May 2024 the Foundation „MS-Moga Sam“organised an International Conference: „The brain– problems and solutions“ organized on the occasion of World Multiple Sclerosis Day. The conference is dedicated to the causes that make the brain sick and are an occasion for many autoimmune and degenerative diseases, as well as the possibilities for their prevention.
Highlights of the program will be topics related to the quality of sleep, detoxification and intoxication of the body, the role of our genes, the impact of the gut microbiome on the brain, the role of vitamins in our physical and mental health, the role of dental health in the brain and much more.
MS Foundation - MOGA SAM is a non-profit organization that works to help patients diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis and other degenerative diseases. Created as a movement in 2013 and registered in September 2015, the Foundation helps people and their loved ones in the direction of training to cope on their own - mentally and physically in life with an MS diagnosis. It helps to look for opportunities to improve the quality of their lives - not only by changing their personal environment such as living conditions but also by providing information about all existing treatment methods to enable those diagnosed to make informed choices about their health and treatment.
The foundation is funded by donations and volunteer support. For the second year now, people from all over Bulgaria have been sending folded origami figures of cranes, which the Foundation turns into beautiful decorative panels, for which it is looking for sponsors as part of the "Connected: 1000 cranes in support of people with multiple sclerosis" campaign. Thanks to the collected funds and volunteer work, the Foundation can help people with Multiple Sclerosis and other autoimmune and neurological diseases and their relatives by providing access and funding for psychotherapy consultations through the mental health program "The Choice".
One of the principles on which the Foundation functions is Bilyana Savova's personal meetings with those diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis throughout the country in search of individual solutions, motivating conversations, drawing up a regimen of nutrition and physical activity, and many other ways of support.
