HOW TO STEAM COD FISH Easily│Using Our ALWAYS PAN for Cooking → Whats For Dinner│Dining With Tara
Today we are making steamed cod and tasty "rice" with brussels - all in one pan! The Always Pan. You absolutely can steam this fish in any pan, I just find this method so incredibly easy. In only a matter of minutes you will have a healthy, balanced, and super delicious meal that is perfect for a busy weeknight, to meal prep for work, or for an easy weekend dinner.

INGREDIENTS:
7 oz package Banza Rice (garlic olive oil flavor)
1 ¼ cups Water + 1 cup
2 Cod Fillets
10 oz Brussels Sprouts
½ Lemon
1 tablespoon Olive Oil
Salt & Pepper to Taste
INSTRUCTIONS:
Cut off ends of brussels and remove outer leaves. Slice in half or in quarters and set aside. Slice 2 thin lemon slices. Reserve the rest for garnish. Over medium heat add olive oil to the Always Pan. Then add brussels. Add a little salt and pepper to taste. Cook until your desired doneness. Remove from the pan and set aside. Add 1 ¼ cups water to the Always Pan. Bring to a boil. Add banza rice, then add seasoning packet to the rice and stir. Place steamer basket on the pan. Add parchment paper. Then place Cod on the basket. Top with salt and pepper. Add a lemon slice to each fillet. Cover. Reduce heat to low and cook for 6-8 minutes, or until rice is done. Remove steamer basket. Fluff rice. Add brussels back to the pan and stir. Remove rice and brussels to a serving bowl. Check the temperature of the fish. Cook until 145F. If no cooked through, add a cup of water to the pan and place the steamer basket with the cod back on the pan. Cook for additional 3-7 minutes or until Cod reaches 145F. Serve your cod with a generous serving of the rice and brussels, top with additional lemon. Enjoy!
