Stuff I added:
-starting screen(unfinished)
-full background
-new enemy layout
-new enemy type
-boss phases
-a score counter
--runs down with time until the boss is dead
--every enemy killed adds a little to the score
-health pick up
-weapon switching
-controller support
And I got the joy of bugfixing! Picking up the fire upgrades/switching weapons would make it impossible to shoot, if I did it on a certain frame. Figuring that one out was a pain.
By now I feel like I'm so far away from Tom Francis tutorial(if he changes one little thing I would have to dig around in the code of like 10 objects) that I might aswell just "finish" this game up with my baby-knowledge of coding and then start a new game to get back into the tutorial.
