"Let's begin with the 200 lek note in circulation since 2017, a standard circulation banknote crafted from brown polymer. It measures 125 mm x 65 mm and features on its obverse side an open book, a portrait of the writer Naim Frasheri, and the Bank of Albania building. On the reverse side, a fountain pen, the childhood friend of Frasheri, and an excerpt from the Frasheri poem 'Ti Shqiperi me jep nder, me jep emrin shqipetar' (You, Albania, bestow upon me honor and the name Albanian) grace the design."
"Moving on to the 500 lek banknote, released in 2020, it boasts a striking blue color and measures 132 mm x 69 mm. Its obverse features a two-headed eagle, an outline of the Bank of Albania building, a portrait of Prime Minister Ismail Qemali, and the 1912 independence flag in Optically Variable Ink. The reverse depicts desks and chairs in the conference room where independence was declared, a telegraph machine that transmitted the declaration, and the house where the declaration took place."

With dimensions of 139 mm x 69 mm, this note features a blazing sun, an in-profile picture of writer Pjeter Bogdani, an outline of the Bank of Albania headquarters building in Optically Variable Ink, and a blazing sun in OVI on the obverse. The reverse depicts the national emblem, Bogdani's vision of the heliocentric system, and a Catholic church in Vau i Dejes."

With dimensions of 146 mm x 72 mm, this note's obverse features Gentius of Illyria, the Bank of Albania building in Tirana, and ancient coins of Gentius. The reverse depicts the coat of arms of Albania, a Gentiana lutea medicinal herb, and the amphitheater of Butrint."
"Now, let's explore the majestic 5,000 lek banknote in circulation since 2013, a standard circulation brown and yellow note that measures 160 mm x 72 mm. Its obverse side shows a two-headed eagle on a shield, a sword, a holographic patch outline of the Bank of Albania building in OVI, the national coat of arms, and a portrait of Skanderbeu (Gjergj Kastrioti Skanderbeg). The reverse side depicts the equestrian statue of Skanderbeu by Odhise Paskalli and the Kruja Castle."

With dimensions of 160 mm x 72 mm, this note's obverse design consists of the Bank of Albania headquarters building and a portrait of Albanian poet, Aleksander Starve Drenova, who was popularly known by his pen name Asdreni. The back of the note displays the national flag, a music box, a musical score, and the first two lines of the country's anthem Himni i Flamurit."
