Was doing some GCI on the 104th Phoenix server monitoring and directing traffic. Then 104th Spade took this 47 miles shot with an AIM-120C Amraam.
This shot was never possible before. But because of the new missile lofting physics we can actually hit from this far. But know that this shot is not possible from lower altitudes. Because both planes where at about 40.000ft and the launching aircraft had at least a starting speed of above Mach 1.3 when the AMRAAM was launched (did not double check the speed).
