This video shows you how to change your engine air filter on a 1992 Mercedes Benz 300SL Convertible (R129), including attachment to the breather hose. This will improve engine performance, including a small increase in horsepower, and lower overall long-term maintenance costs.

The video instruction applies to the 1990, 1991, 1992, and 1993 Mercedes 300SL, AND Mercedes W124 chassis 300E, CE, Cabriolet.

The filter is a Mahle (Mercedes Part # 003 094 5304) and is Made in Germany.

It's a simple and cheap fix, improves engine efficiency and has long-term benefits, which is why I change mine every year.
