(23 Dec 2016) Berlin residents and visitors continued to pay their respects on Friday at the site of the truck attack that killed 12 people.
They came to offer flowers and candles at a makeshift memorial to the victims of Monday's attack as a concrete block was placed around the market to separate it from the nearby traffic.
A heavy police presence could be seen patrolling between stalls.
On Friday morning the Italian news agency ANSA reported that a man killed in Milan was the suspect behind the attack.
Authorities were searching for Anis Amri, a 24-year-old Tunisian man.
