Russians are coming to terms with the latest economic upheaval -
a three-digit change in the denomination of rouble.
They've been preparing for the loss of the last three zeros from
the currency since August, and the New Year has made it reality.
It means the value on currency markets against the US dollar,
which stood at close to 6,000, will stand at close to six
roubles.
The Russian bank has set up a special denomination 'hot line' to
try to ease citizen's worries. But, many fear that any change
can only mean they will lose out.
