Three things new drivers should keep in mind about the Maruti Suzuki Fronx.
First, the seating position. Getting comfy here will be just as easy as with the Baleno because the cabin is the same. Which means it will also feel hatchback-like, not SUV-like. The view won’t be as commanding and it will not feel as spacious. Conveniences like seat height adjustment, tilt and telescopic steering are available, but only in the top two variants.
Second, the engine options are great news. The base 1.2 is our default recommendation because of how smooth and easy and efficient it is for everyday use. It is also available with an AMT which is good enough. The turbocharged engine? You could pick it. It’s friendly and easy to get used to. The 6-speed automatic is more difficult.
Third, it gets ESP, hill hold, front parking sensors, rear defogger...all of this as standard. If you’re looking for reversing camera or 360° camera well in that case you have to go for the top two variants
