This is the "The Challenge, Le Défi" first of three Fort Boyard games made by Microids. The second one, The Legend, is a point and click adventure similar to Myst. The third game, The Quest (Or Millenium) is an action game. Seeing as how this first one is the only one that is close to the show.

Fort Boyard, if you don't know, is a fairly famous TV show filmed in Fort Boyard, off the coast of France, near La Rochelle in the Charente-Maritime region.
