ASMR can be defined as a combination of positive feelings, relaxation and a distinct, static-like tingling sensation on the skin. It can also be described as roughly 2.5 seconds of concerted effort from a certain content creator before she returns to yelling and generally making a lot of noise. The audience, however, seems to enjoy this noise over the dulcet relaxing tones of the ASMR.
