As you can see, there was a tricky and icy part with snow! But hey that AWD system is called Super All-Wheel Control! The Outlander did OK! but if you check carefully, you can't see it roll back a little before sending the power when traction is needed. This is rather unusual. Whatever mode you choose, the results will be the same except for MUD where you have a little more momentum, but you still get that roll back down the hill. This vehicle was equipped with winter tires. Turning off TCS will send the tires into smoke and won't get you anywhere.
