Chip Huyen, who wrote a famous piece about ML interviews, discusses her perspective on the interview process as someone who now runs their own company. She mentioned that the process is very personal and that she and the interviewer come from different backgrounds. She emphasized the importance of balancing technical expertise and motivation in candidates and finding the balance between hiring someone who already has the skills or training them to acquire them.
