This is Episode 4 in this Oil Pastels series made specifically for Mixed Media Artists, beginners and upwards actually!! Since many oil pastel artists rely on Colored pencils to refine their pieces and add details, I wanted to know: Is there a BETTER choice of pencils to work with Oil Pastels over others?
Today I wanted to test it out for myself to see.
I'm comparing 3 makes: Prismacolor, Derwent Drawing and Polychromos by Faber - Castell. The results surprised me! I'm glad I tested them all!
Do YOU have a favorite colored pencil that works well with oil pastels (or you want me to test for you?). Let me know in the comments section!
