This is the moment a vicious catfight breaks out between two female passengers in a crowded women-only train carriage.
An eyewitness with a smartphone filmed the brawl on the Metro underground railway system in the Mexican capital of Mexico City.
The footage shows a thickset blonde woman angrily attacking another woman, trying to slap her and grab her hair as her rival backs away.
Other passengers are being jostled in the crowded carriage and can be heard telling the blonde woman to stop fighting.
One woman is heard saying: "Enough lady, you're hurting us, let her go, you go out if you want to fight, you look like animals."
The incident took place as the train arrived at the Culhuacan station, south of the city centre, on the Line 12 service.
As the train doors open, the blonde woman pushes her rival out onto the station platform before following her to continue the fight.
Meanwhile, a shocked looking woman holding a toddler squeezes past the pair to get onto the train.
The video of the fight sparked a lively debate on social media where netizen ‘Cisco Rastaman’ said: “A pig - very ugly and aggressive, disgusting woman."
And ‘Enrique Garcia’ added: “They should have pulled the emergency cord so the cops could have taken this fatty. The victim could also report her and she should do it.”
Mexico City introduced metro carriages for women and children in 2000 amidst concerns about women passengers being harassed and assaulted by men.
