I’m proud to share I competed my first marathon today!
For years 2-3 miles per run was my limit..
Consistent effort over time built my confidence to believe 26.2 miles was possible.
I share this because so many of us are not good at things when we first start.
Rather than giving up, or thinking, “maybe this just isn’t for me”
Recognize that you have the ability to do virtually anything you want so long as you are willing to put in the work.
A person is limited only by the thoughts that they choose.
If you are thinking Every Sales Development Rep Needs To Try running a marathon that’s not the point of this video.
I just spoke with a SDR at my company who was concerned about the long path from SDR to AE. Saying many of this friends were becoming AE sooner so he wanted to make more money & career progression.
The point is in a 30 year time horizon, there is no need to ever feel impatient or that you are behind.
