With the work and sweat involved, you may be wondering "is it really worth it to DIY a deck?" We are here to tell you that the answer is 1000% YES! We won't sugarcoat things. Tackling a deck build yourself won't be easy. It will be mentally and physically exhausting. But if you're willing to get dirty and put in some tough hours, you will save yourself a small fortune! Our modern, composite (Trex) deck is turning out beautifully, and this project has been more than rewarding already. Come along with us as we round the corner and near the finish line!

This week, you'll see us plane and tape our joists, install all of our composite floor boards, and tackle most of our cable railings!
