"September In The Rain" was written by Harry Warren and Al Dubin in 1937, recorded by Frank Sinatra on August 31, 1960 at Capitol Records in Hollywood, and included in the LP, Sinatra's Swingin' Session! released in 1961. The album is similar to Sinatra's and Nelson Riddle's earlier albums, Songs for Swingin Lovers and a Swingin Affair. In 1998 the expanded album was released by Capitol on CD with the title, Sinatra's Swingin' Session! And More.
