Just need to have a few pointers. First and foremost, use pork ribs with soft bones as the meat is tender and suitable for steaming compared to regular pork ribs and cut into small bite size pieces. For extra depth of flavour, marinate the pork ribs for at least 30 minutes if not overnight for best results.

To maximise the flavour, marinate with the salty and sweet seasonings first and only mix in the cornstarch water and oil at the very last of the marinade. This will allow the meat to fully absorb all the flavourful seasonings and to lock in all the bursting flavours. Lastly, do not overcook the pork ribs during steaming.
