This video features a pair of Allen Edmonds "Marlow" wingtip oxfords produced in 1991. Although they appeared to be in very good condition when I purchased them for $10 from a thrift store, they needed a bit of attention. As you'll see, the left toe had a deep cut, and the right shoe had a bunch of nicks and scrapes. I give them the full treatment, and also replace the original "Victory" Allen Edmonds heel top lifts with new rubber as they were about to wear into the heel base. I'll also go into detail about how I know these are a 1991 model year shoe. I compare and contrast the Marlow model to the current most similar model Allen Edmonds makes, the McAllister.
