Admiral Nelson and Captain Crane rescue two men adrift in the ocean, hanging on to the wreckage of their boat. These rescues never work out well for the men of the Seaview, not even in the original feature-length movie from 1961.) The rescued men wreak havoc and put the ship and crew in peril from a gigantic monster on the bottom of the sea.
