The Bye Bye Man is an upcoming American supernatural horror film directed by Stacy Title and written by Jonathan Penner, based on the short story The Bridge to Body Island by Robert Damon Schneck. The film stars Douglas Smith, Lucien Laviscount, Cressida Bonas and Doug Jones, with Carrie-Anne Moss and Faye Dunaway . Principal photography began on November 2, 2015 in Cleveland, Ohio. STX Entertainment will release the film on December 9, 2016.
