The Democratic Party President-General Norbert Mao has called for an international investigation into events at the Rwenzururu palace in Kasese district in which the King was captured and several people killed. Mao said the tensions in the Rwenzori region started in 2012 when Omusinga Charles Wesley Mumbere was barred from visiting Bundigugyo district to attend an official event.
