West Bengal Governor CV Ananda Bose is in the midst of a controversy. The Trinamool Congress has flagged the case of a Raj Bhavan employee levelling allegations of molestation against the governor.
In her police complaint, the woman is said to have referred two meetings with the governor.
The governor has called the investigation politically “motivated” and has banned the entry of police personnel into Raj Bhavan premises. The issue has once again ignited a debate on the limits of constitutional immunity.
