The Agia Sophia Stadium, also known as OPAP Arena for sponsorship reasons and as AEK Arena for UEFA competitions, is the home stadium of AEK Athens.
With an all-seater capacity of 32,500 it is the third largest football stadium overall in Greece.
It is located in Nea Filadelfeia, a northwestern suburb of Athens, Greece.
The new arena was built on the site of the former Nikos Goumas Stadium.
The construction of the arena was completed in October 2022.

The net construction cost is estimated at € 81,700,000.
On 27 March 2023, the stadium began hosting the home matches of the Greece national football team with a 0–0 draw against Lithuania.
The stadium won the 13th edition of the Stadium of the Year award in the public vote for the best stadium opened in 2022.
The 2024 UEFA Europa Conference League final is scheduled to take place at the stadium on 29 May 2024.
The original name of the stadium, Agia Sophia, named after the Byzantine-built former orthodox cathedral Hagia Sophia, was picked in order to commemorate the roots of the club from the city of Constantinople (present day Istanbul).
The commercial name of the stadium, OPAP Arena, was picked after OPAP – Greek Organisation of Football Prognostics S.A. secured the naming rights for five years, starting from 2022 onwards.
AEK is a Greek professional football club based in Nea Filadelfeia, Athens, Greece.
Established in Athens in 1924 by Greek refugees from Constantinople in the wake of the Greco-Turkish War (1919–1922).
AEK is one of the most successful teams in Greek football , winning 32 national titles and is the only club to have won all the competitions organised by the Hellenic Football Federation (13 Greek Championships, 16 Greek Cups, 1 League Cup and 2 Super Cups).
The club has appeared several times in European competitions (UEFA Champions League, UEFA Europa League, and the defunct UEFA Cup Winners' Cup). It is the only Greek team to have advanced to the semi-finals of the UEFA Cup (1976–77) and the quarter-finals of the UEFA Cup Winners' Cup twice (1996–97 and 1997–98).
AEK was also the first Greek team to reach the quarter-finals of the European Cup (1968–69) and to qualify for the group stage of the UEFA Champions League (1994–95).
