In this talk, I had the pleasure of welcoming back Bill Mulligan from the Cloud Native Computing Foundation (CNCF), to do a brief round-up of the recent KubeCon + CloudNativeCon Virtual Europe 2021 and share his thoughts on some of the highlights of the conference.
Of course, we could not do the 200+ talks justice in this short talk but we covered our favourite talks, some new technologies that are on the horizon and some of the other social aspects of the conference that are of importance to the CNCF, such as the sponsorship of students to attend the conference.
Bill and I also managed to joke about our current favourite tech topic - WASM or WebAssembley!
