This silverback gorilla knows exactly how to handle fights within his troop.
A mama gorilla is just casually taking a stroll, with her baby playfully climbing on her.
When out of nowhere - she gets attacked.
But the silverback, the leader and protector of the group, instantly catches wind of the altercation and moves in with terrifying speed.
He knew exactly who started the fight, and with his incredible strength, he pinned the aggressive gorilla down. Notice that he's not trying to hurt the other gorilla, but rather calm it down, deescalating the situation.
You can almost hear him telling the other gorilla, "When I let go, you need to behave."
Keeping the peace within the troop is as important for a silverback as protecting them from external threats, and this one did a fantastic job at that.
