An introduction to the creative works of author, and now filmmaker Philip Reeve, talking about the making of his new film "Gwenevere".
Directed by Philip and his wife Sarah, Gwenevere was shot in locations on Dartmoor, with a cast and crew of film making talent from across the South West, the film is set in the world of King Arthur.
"After her fall from grace and power, Queen Gwenevere must travel on foot to the abbey where she is to live out her remaining years. But on her way through the wilderness, she and her two companions encounter an evil knight."
The film will be shown at an English Riviera Film Festival screening on Saturday November 4th at Torquay Museum - tickets on sale now.

After the screening Philip and Sarah will be available for a Q and A session about the making of the film.
In the second part of this exciting event, Philip will talk about his career as author and illustrator of children’s books; known for his Mortal Engines quartet (one of which was turned into a Peter Jackson produced film) and his latest novels, The Utterly Dark trilogy. His 2007 novel, Here Lies Arthur, based on the legendary King Arthur, won the Carnegie Medal. In recent years, he has collaborated with illustrator Sarah McIntyre on multiple award-winning books, including a series about Kevin the Roly-Poly Flying Pony and their brand new series Adventuremice.
The audience will have the opportunity to ask Philip questions at the end of the talk. With a book signing in the museum's shop after the Q and A.
