The Indonesian government is imposing a tax on shoppers to try and reduce the mountain of plastic bags thrown away everyday.
Around 180 million tonnes of plastic waste is dumped every year in the country, second only to China.
But while Indonesian shoppers will have to pay the new tax, there is resistance from the producers of plastic packaging.
