Hi guys! This video is a review Part 2 on a lesson (072520). I am just naming the lessons with the numbers(dates) to specify.
Watching yourself on a screen is a great way to see and realize the problems to fix and improve. And if you have someone to explain what and how and why, that would be even better.
So one of my student (anonymous) took a video of himself and requested for a comment.
So once you have solid forehand drive then you have choice to develop footwork with forehand drive or smash. Either way you have to learn the other after either one. In this smash lesson, there are 2 things that I wanted to emphasize
1. Read opponent's pre-motion to be ready to move and instantly prepare when the opponent contacts the ball to indicate the placement of the ball and get ready to swing.
2. Use your body more than arms!
Practice makes perfect.
I hope there is something everyone, from beginners to advanced players, can learn something even though these are simple drills. I hope you enjoy the video, and thanks to the video provider.
If you wish to have comments on your technique or game, feel free to leave comment.
