In this video Chad and Cameron sit down to discuss where to start when digital scouting or E-scouting for public land whitetails. For a lot of people, boots on the ground scouting for out of state hunting trips is not an option, so knowing what to look for when digital scouting for big public land bucks is key!
Keep in mind a few things when figuring out where to start looking. First, if you're hunting public land, having options to multiple public land spots is important. If one spot is over pressured or doesn't look like it did on the map, having a few other options can save the hunt.
Also, DON'T FALL IN LOVE WITH THE MAP! Just because the map looks great for whitetails doesn't mean they are going to be there. So keep an open mind and give yourself options!
