In this video, I will you show you how to stop paying hidden fees at foreign ATMs. You may think that this doesn't apply to you, but they are called hidden international fees for a reason. How to avoid foreign atm fees isn't something that many people know about. You are paying 6-12% in a hidden conversion fee at foreign ATMs, and you don't even know it! By the end of this video, you will know which button to press (select "decline conversion") in order to save yourself from the hidden conversion fee. You need to know which button to push...accept or decline conversion at internationl atms.

The conversion fee that you are unknowingly paying (when you select "accept conversion") is higher in tourist areas (around 10%), and in local areas it can be around 6%. Even if you are an experienced traveler, please watch this video because you may not know this about foreign ATMs.

Here is the example from the video:
If you withdraw 2,000 pesos and hit "accept conversion", you are charged $110.19 USD for 2,000 pesos
If you withdraw 2,000 pesos and hit "decline conversion", you are charged $103.57 USD for 2,000 pesos.

In the video, I mention two debit cards in order to avoid paying withdrawal fees (different than the conversion fee).
