Ringo and Maureen were married on the morning of February 11 in London.
That afternoon they drove down to Hove in Sussex to have a brief 3 day honeymoon at a house owned by a lawyer friend of Brian Epstein's.
The next morning they awoke to find a gathering of press outside the house.
To appease the press hordes and hopefully get some peace and quiet, a press conference was hastily arranged for midday (Feb 12).
Dozens of photographers and cameramen didn't miss this opportunity and no one missed out with Ringo and Maureen graciously giving dozens of interviews including at least three filmed interviews including this one by "BBC News".
