Subscribe to this channel for updates! -- The Vigeland Museum in Oslo is a beautiful location which features a lovely, natural reverb. The first half of the concert was played in this blue room with approx 3-4 secs reverb, the second half in a red, bigger room with around 8 secs reverb.

About: Norwegian bassist Sigurd Hole is known from his work with musicians and ensembles such as Tord Gustavsen trio/quartet, Karl Seglem, Helge Lien, Eple Trio, Jon Eberson Group and his own trio Sigurd Hole trio. As a bassist he represents an innovative and creative approach to his instrument strongly influenced by Norwegian folk music. He has released more than 30 albums with his main projects, and has toured extensively worldwide for many years visiting countries like Japan, India, Australia, New Zealand, Turkey, Germany, UK, France, Brazil and the Azores. 2018 sees the release of his own both solo and trio albums, as well as a new album with Tord Gustavsen Trio (ECM).
