1. We went to Pasir Gudang in Johor Bahru Malaysia to get the ferry to Batam Indonesia, since it is a bit cheaper and also there are multiple ferries through the day -- every hour or two. one way 75rm and round trip 105rm.
2. Arrived to Batam Center ferry terminal after the 1.5 hour ride, and walked straight over the pedestrian bridge ok the 2nd floor of the terminal right to the MegaMall, where we found awesome Sundanese food on the top floor.
3. Negotiated 60,000rp for our ride to Nagoya center to the Hana Hotel.
4. Checked in and then went outside to walk, found the local dessert called Serabi Solo. wow so delicious! Then continued to the biggest downtown mall -- Nagoya Hill. This mall is huge and has just about anything you could think of.
5. Outside the mall, about 10pm or 11pm the street food scene was very lively -- coconuts, sate, peanut sauce, tons of goodies.
Next day... Boarding the huge Pelni passenger ship to Jakarta for the 30 hour trip. watch the next video. :)
