Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna is the soundtrack album to the 2006 Bollywood film Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna directed by Karan Johar, starring Shahrukh Khan, Abhishek Bachchan, Rani Mukherji and Preity Zinta. The music and score was composed by Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy, while the lyrics were penned by Javed Akhtar, and was released on 16 June 2006 by Sony BMG. This is the second time that lyricist Javed Akhtar and the composers Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy have teamed up for a Dharma production. The title song Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna rendered by Sonu Nigam and Alka Yagnik is a tear jerking melody.
