Last year I put all my backyard colonies of honeybees in Apimaye Beehives. I had not inspected them for a long time. With the temperatures climbing the bees have been very busy and it a good time to check them out. So I did inspections on on all 7 colonies, and, as usual, it was quite the adventure. I had such a good time and saw so many interesting things with these bees that I decided to break the video into 2 parts.
In this video, Part 2, ,I was able to inspect a couple of more colonies, show what a high mite count looks like in a mite wash, and perform an unconventional split. What a fun day that was! I think you will really enjoy the video. Be sure to check out Part 1 which is also a fun video to watch. The only absolute in beekeeping is that is is always an adventure!
