Xiaomi Redmi 4A 250000 units sold under 4 minutes When is the next Xiaomi Redi 4A sale
The recently launched Xiaomi Redmi 4A on 23 march 2017 went on sale for the first time on Amazon India and Mi.com. Xiaomi says that in under four minutes, buyers were able to snap up 250,000 units of the new smartphone. The affordable Redmi 4A was
launched in India earlier this week with a price tag of Rs 5,999.
According to the company, Amazon India witnessed more than 5 million hits per minute, and during the peak there were nearly 1,500 orders being recorded per second. During the sale, users also complained about Amazon India website crashing under the immense load. Ahead of today’s sale, Amazon India had a ‘notify me’ section for users, and the e-commerce site reveals there were over 1 million alerts.
“We are pleased with the record sales of more than 250,000 units of Redmi 4A on Amazon and Mi.com,” Raghu Reddy, Online Sales Head, Xiaomi India said. “The device has much to offer to customers and it is the best in its price segment. Our Mi Fans are at the core of our business and their response to the sale has been tremendous. Xiaomi Redmi 4A is the most affordable smartphone to date and delivers on our brand promise of innovation for everyone.”
For those who missed out on buying the Redmi 4A yesterday, the next sale is scheduled for March 30. Xiaomi’s smartphone will again be available on both Amazon India and Mi.com, and the sale will commence at 12:00PM. The Redmi 4A is Xiaomi’s latest Made in India product, and it is placed in a segment where there aren’t many noteworthy smartphones.

The Redmi 4A flaunts a 5-inch HD display, and is powered by a Snapdragon 425 quad-core SoC paired with 2GB of RAM.
There is 16GB storage on offer, which can be expanded using a microSD card. The rest of the specifications include a
13-megapixel primary camera, 5-megapixel selfie camera, a 3,120mAh battery, and connectivity options like dual-SIM card slots, 4G with VoLTE support, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and GPS. On the software front, the smartphone runs on Android Marshmallow-based MIUI 8.
