Zane won his Semi-final round which put him in the final Championship round in Lost Item Recovery. In both rounds, especially in the semis, Zane had rats on the brain. There were rats in boxes in the indoor arena, which is where Zane is trying to pull me. It took time for him to settle in and search for the scented objects. In the finals, he was very interested in the scents coming off the fields which is why I re-circled the tractor. I took too long on the second area before I cleared it, and in the third, saw that he was interested in the base of the post, but didn't get a clear alert. Brought him back and got it.
He didn't win. Another dog found the hide in less time.
Semi-finals were three hides of a stranger scent. Finals were 4 search areas, one hide of stranger scent, 2 min/area, and must clear an area before going to the next.
