Some mushrooms found in southern Indiana

This episode features:

common oyster mushroom (Pleurotus ostreatus)

orange mock oyster mushroom (Phyllotopsis nidulans)

Episode notes: I filmed this a year ago. The downed tulip poplar logs I referred to producing oyster mushrooms in my estimation produced mushrooms almost every month for about two years until the bark fell off. I'm assuming in no small part, this was due to fact that what was one organism was broken up into multiple independent organisms in each log that fruited independently of each other.
