Kerrigan Fine teaches Acrylic Painting through Art History to high schoolers at Berea. During her Art History studies in college, she has developed a deep interest in the history of art and the lives and experiences of those who create it. She especially likes the study of Christian art through the ages; her favorites being from the Renaissance, and Baroque periods.
Kerrigan is a former homeschool student and is currently finishing her General Fine Arts degree at STLCC-Meramec. Because of her passion for both teaching and creating, Kerrigan has enjoyed being a classroom instructor at Michael’s, a freelance drawing/painting teacher, and most recently, a Berea instructor! She also enjoys painting custom pet portraits in her spare time, and some examples of her paintings can be found on her art website, kerriganfineart.com.
A favorite phrase of Kerrigan’s is to say, “It adds character!” instead of getting discouraged by a “mess up”.
