30gms/2.5tbsp Masoor dal
65 gms/5.5tbsp Moong dal
100gms/ 8tbsp Toor dal
5 cups Water
to taste Salt
1 nos Green chilly chopped
½tbsp Ginger chopped
½tsp Turmeric
FOR TADKA:
1 tbsp Desi Ghee
½tsp Heeng (asafoetida)
1 no Dry red chilly
1 tsp Cumin
A dash of water
to taste Salt
handful Coriander chopped
wedge - 1no (optional) Lemon
