For residents and visitors without a car, getting around St. Pete hasn't always been easy. For decades, Tampa Bay considered different rapid transit options, and the winner was SunRunner: a first of its kind bus rapid transit (BRT) system for the region. “From Beach to ‘Burg,” the 10-mile line was designed with a complete corridors approach, supporting both commuters heading to work and tourists hitting bars, restaurants, and yes, the beach.
