This is a Resplendent Quetzal bird Native to Mexico and Guatemala. The Quetzal bird is very Rare and a prized possession to the Countries who have a small amount captive for conservational purposes. This Quetzal was hand raised and doesn’t mind people. Back thousands of years and as early as 500 years the Quetzal was a sign of beauty by the Aztec people giving it the name( Quetzal) the feathers were highly prized by the Mayan and Aztec cultures and also used as currency back in the day.
