SEA EAGLE II returns from testing her sail handling systems on the North Sea. Meeting Covid-19 restrictions during “intelligent lock-down” in the Netherlands: a measure that allows Royal Huisman to continue working in these extraordinary times provided that strict regulations are adhered to. For example social distancing during trials by a minimal number of crew and Project 400 team members; health checks and statements; dedicated working areas; “onboard traffic” directions and “no go” areas.
Early January 2020, SEA EAGLE II – the world’s largest aluminum sailing yacht - was transferred from the headquarters in Vollenhove to Royal Huisman’s Amsterdam facility, where her Rondal carbon Panamax schooner rig was stepped and tuned. Delivery is expected as soon as the well-prepared sail trial program is completed in a safe, allowed and acceptable manner, for everyone involved.
