Both nice systems but I did not like the two feet plus of "rear taper" on the SA Scandi Spey Lite. I dont want 2.5' of overhand on a 6' rod every cast which is what I had to do If I wanted the rear loop outside my rod tip. Scandi Lite is a nice shooting head other than that.
Commando Smooth or Commando heads with a long floating micro tip are versatile, powerful, make high line speeds. You can overhead, Sustained anchor Cast, touch and go cast, small flies for a fairly delicate presentation, or put on a small sculpzilla and swing for trout. Its a great system, but the smallest 150 grain head was just a tad heavy for my 6' 2/3 Tiger Eye single hander.
