Our first stop in Sri Lanka in 2022 is in historic Colombo where tuk tuks and Buddha statues are plenty.

➡️ Then off to Kandy, the royal city of Sri Lanka! Staying at the Golden Crown Hotel, Kandy. Famous long before the filming of Indiana Jones Temple of Doom, Kandy was established as a royal city by ancient kings.

Beginning our journey at the Royal Palace and then on to the Temple of the Tooth Relic and to the “Big Buddha”, this UNESCO historical site made for an amazing spiritual experience from beginning to end.

➡️ The British-influenced botanical gardens and the elephant orphanage stand as a beautiful representation of the Buddhist principle that man must understand nature to thrive with it harmoniously.

A visit to the royal city of Sri Lanka, Kandy will leave you in awe of the spiritual atmosphere that resonates throughout the city.
